Apologies where this has no doubt been covered before-but just getting going on this-and one has all sorts of early pre-iva questions.

Car-nothing special-does have a cherished number on it of some value-prob. £500 to a dealer and £1300 in private sale.
would a cherished number be taken into account as an asset.
I would ideally like to keep it-if i simply put it 'in storage' would it ever be found out about/necessary to disclose as an asset ?

Hi and welcome! You can make extra payments to your creditors in lieu of selling the number plate. Don't worry about asking questions...ask away x

Hi and welcome.

Mine was worth about the same and I was allowed to keep it and didn't have to make any extra payments.

It will all depend on the IP though.

Mine is just your average private plate (cost around £250) and it was never ever mentioned at the start, during or after the IVA.

I never mentioned mine, nor was I asked.
