Which compnany should I choose?

There are a lot of good firms out there for all debt solutions.

Visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews and give one or two a ring for some free advice as to all the options open to you.

Hi Adam - welcome to the forum - you ask the million dollar question. The advice is always to speak to 2 or 3 companies (some are recommended on here and reviewd at www.iva.com). Once you have spoken to them you will know who to chosse based on the chat - you need to feel comfortable, well informed, know the company has an excellent success rate and will be there for you throughout your IVA, not just at the beginning.

Posters have their recommendations on here and will support you laong the way.

Probably the one a lot of us wished we had gone with, if we had known about this forum and the outstanding help and support it provides. Read a good few of the questions on here and I bet you will come up with the same conclusion as I have. Reading the signature line of the poster above this will give you the best clue [;)]

For me, the cccs sorted that out for me, perhaps not the most sensible decision but my IP is local so the post costs and phone calls are fairly cheap!

I'm with Melanie Giles and have had no problems whatsoever.

Do always contact 2, 3 or even 4 companies to ensure you feel comfortable with who you choose as 60/72 months is a long time if you're not happy x

talk to a few, you will soon find one your happy with.
1st one I talk to was pushing me,
ie: go with this bank then put me though to the bank to open an a/c.
giving me no time to think.
Next one talk to me as a person, give me time to think, told be to call back if I needed any more help.

Hi, talk to a few. Don't jump in . Take time to think about what they have said. Ask loads of questions then choose the one you are comfy with. I went with dfd on my second iva they came round and sorted out paperwork at my house really quickly that's what I wanted. My first iva company was awful so take your time picking what's best for you. Good luck

The best thing to remember is your IVA supervisor is going to have a large impact on your life and you must feel comfortable with them. If you can try and talk to a couple of firms. Tell them everything and don't worry they have heard it all before. IP's are qualified accountants and they are all very different and the personal touch is very important especially in this field.
