in september i paid my last payment into my iva. i was informed by dfd that my iva would be paid by november and i would receive a certificate of completion. last week i asked what was happening with my iva. the reply was the iva has closed successfully but we cannot send out a certificate of completion until the creditors have responded. today i received a letter from bank stating that my claim for ppi had been approved and i could have £1200 refund. nice i thought. just one thing they were waiting for dfd to decide wether i could have the money or wether ithad to be paid to my creditors.okay fine i can appreciate that so i contacted dfd again. received an answer - after reviwing your account i can confirm that all claims have now been agreed and from this point the iva should be closed down and a certificate of completion issued in 4 to 6 week. fine but what about the ppi claim am i having it or my creditors? simple question requires a simple answer. apparantley not they don't know. i am i entitled to it or not thats all i want to know thanks

Hi Kaz and welcome to the forum

I think that the only people that can answer this correctly for you is DFD, so try and put a call or an e-mail to the IP acting for you seeking clarification. The answer to the question lies very firmly in the wording of your own IVA proposals.
