Hi
I am currently struggling, and have no money to my name this month, does anyone know if it is possible to take a holiday from your IVA for a month?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
J

Hi J,
Is there any reason why you are struggling? Is your IVA set too high? Have you had any extra expense recently?
You can have a payment holiday but this has to be run past your IP for their agreement first.
If you are struggling then you may need to ask for a review of your income and expenditure.

A payment break is possible, have you overspent on the festive booze and my present or was there an extra expense you hadnt accounted for?
Are you ok with your income and expenses normally or have you been struggling for a while?

I have just struggled to get a months payment break with Payplan for essential boiler repairs and have to make it up over the next two months.
Mr Blue Sky used his own name until the IVA was finished.

I'm afraid they won't allow you to use a payment break for Christmas and you will need to provide invoices and/or estimates before they agree the payment break.

I'm having to provide an invoice for my boiler repairs as well even though the payment will be made up.
Get in touch with your IP and tell them about this asap. You should have no problem with repairs.
