Hi..First post but I've been reading for a while.
We have our IVA hearing this week, its been a short but stressful path to get here once we made the decision to go down this route. A new bank account has been opened, credit cards all cut up (and that felt good), salaries and direct debits all switched and whatever happens at the meeting, it will be a new start. My question is probably one that's been posted a thousand times before...Can anybody let me have a spreadsheet monthly budget template please. I'm happy to do one myself, but I dare say there are people who are far better at using formulas etc who have done things better than I would produce.
So...a stressful few days ahead although our IP has been very good so far and seems to be very confident, and all being well the right result just in time for Christmas. That's the plan anyway[:)]

Hi and welcome.
Good luck with your meeting this week - what date and time is it:? What company are you with:?
Have to say that I don't use a spreadsheet - just note down how much my DD's are and when they are due and check my bank account often.
I know some people do use spreadsheets so they might be able to help you.

Hi Bradders and welcome. Can't assist with the spreadsheet but I am sure someone will happen along who can.
Best of luck with your meeting. Who are you going with ?

Hi good luck for your meeting this week. You're on track with everything, not sure if there is a template but I do teach IT and do have a passion for spreadsheets so if you need any help with formulae I'll help where I can. I do have a personal one but it replicates my bank account so I'd assume you'd want yours to do similar. x
Let us know how the meeting goes. x

My God they were quick replies! It's this Thursday and I'm with RSM Tenon, who despite one blip, have actually been really good to this point. If no one has a spreadsheet to send I;l try to get my own version done this week and I might ask for your expert opinion if that's ok Lesley?
Thanks for the kind welcome.

Bradders, you will find this particular forum a lot livlier than others. The IVA'ers and Experts alike are around all of the time for help and support.
I, too, am with RSM, and have found them to be great, apart from a few reservations. I am in the middle of my first review and will see how my opinion changes (or improves) soon.

Good luck! I do use a spreadsheet but it literally replicates my bank account/spending and calculates as it goes along, really simple really. I guess getting an account cash book would be the same, except you can't delete errors as easily!!
