I just past the 7 month mark whoo hoo! Each month gone makes me feel better, can't wait for a year to be gone, actually can't wait for 6 years to be gone but then I don't want to wish my life away [:)]

Time does fly in an IVA, I'm coming up to 4th year and I sit and think sometimes that it's gone so quick. I'm not at the stage where I think 'this time next year'. x

Every month down is a reason to Woo Woo! Well done on hitting the 7 month mark.

How about putting a £1 into a tin every time your next payment comes up - that way if you start now you'll have £53 to really celebrate when you get to the 60 months down/0 months to go mark!

Every month is an achievement.

Good idea with the £1's Tina. £60 would buy a nice bottle or 3!!!

I agree with Paul, every month is an achievement and 1 payment closer to the end

If you could make it £1 a week...£282 pounds, get a little holiday in to celebrate?

What a good idea! Even in an IVA I wouldn't miss a £1 a month or probably even £1 a week. mmmmm might have to do that!

Invariably we have found that whenever we have managed to save an amount say £200,then either car/dog/cooker etc will break/become unwell/explode and resulting costs shall be £201.

Thats life.

Paul

Or is it just my life??

Mirrors our life Paul, however on the bright side, if you didn't have £200 saved, you would struggle to find the money so we should be grateful for that I suppose!!!!

Same as us, contingency, what contingency? Every time we go to save something comes up that breaks, or needs fixing or whatever.

Very true Kazza. I am grateful for the fact we can save some money(I know many on IVA's have such tight budgets that savings per month can be kept in a small area of a purse or wallet) and even more for the fact that we no longer rely on credit.
