it's gone by so quickly! This month will be a real struggle as didn't work for 2 weeks as was up with mum when she was in hospital, so lost 2 weeks pay. Still we will manage eeek!
However I am impressed that 6 months will have passed this quickly and so I just worked out when it all ends, and the milestones and put it in my online calendar, the end is SUCH a long way away as I know we will end up doing the 6 years instead of 5 but it's nice to see we finish nearly a year before our Silver Wedding Anniversary so a darned good holiday is going to be booked for that!

It does fly doesnt it. I think it is because relatively speaking money worries are much less. I know there are problems that crop up as you have mentioned but I cant believe I have got as far as I have,,,,it seems so quick.
Just happy I entered into the IVA

Hi Fiona
I hope your mum is improving, how is she? It must seem like ages away but when you get to the end of the IVA you really will feel like it was approved yesterday. I don't suppose you might be able to apply for some sort of sickness pay from the Government if you haven't done this already, even if it's small it's better than nothing? Hang in there. Hugs

well I wasn't sick it was mum so don't think so. We'll manage, mum said she can help a little which might see us through this month and we'll budget extra hard, and sell some of our stuff on ebay!

I'm glad it's passing by quickly for you fiona, we are just a month ahead of you and yes so far it's flying by for us too, I'm starting to get a little nervous that our first review will be coming up not long after xmas, but apart from that we're doing ok so far xx

I'm almost 4 years in and 4th year review coming up, I agree time flies, I look back and it seems to have gone quickly.
I wish everyone another smooth year in their IVA.
Review times are always nervy for me but I've managed the others so I'm sure this will be fine. x

I think I am at about the same stage as you Fiona and must admit that the time has gone really quickly. At the moment though 5 years ninimum does seem like a long haul and my only wish is that we manage to make it to the end. Everything is fine at the moment and running smoothly thank goodness. Hope your mum is still doing ok x

We're coming up to a big problem at the moment - hubby goes onto state pension this year which means that our income will drop - may mean we have to carry on longer.

congrats on the 6 months, its does go by quick, although mine seems to be dragging at the moment, possibly because i am just over half way and seems a long time to finish. just think each payment you make is one step nearer to being debt free. good luck xx
