Hi.I have just submitted my tax return for year 2010-2011. and im not going to be able to pay the whole amount due for jan 2012.I am going to apply for a self employed IVA.Can i include this in my IVA? Also im falling behind with payments for credit cards, and have had debt collection agencies sending letters. Should i try to pay as much as i can, before they take the matter further? Or just not pay them? Thanks

Hi Debbie,
Speak to one of the professionals, either one that posts on here via the 'Ask a question' link on the left hand side of the page, or visit
www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews and give one or two a ring. Make sure they are well versed in dealing with the self employed.
I believe you can include your tax but not 100% on that.
Some people pay token amounts to their creditors, others don't. Your IP company will advise on that.
