Hi Stewart - welcome to the forum. Sorry you have had a bad experience. Was it your IP or one of their support team?

They should not be speaking to you like this. Did you get the name of the person?

You need to put a complaint in about them to.the ip

Do you mind telling us what they said? It's certainly not right to be spoken to in any manner other than polite and I would be complaining if badly trated. I'm sure if you look on their website it will explain their complaints proccedure - however I would politely demand you speak to the IP first about this issue.

Thanks Jan, do i follow their Complaints procedure or Should i try to get in contact with the IP first?

Try their complaints procedure in the first place, if not then go to the ip.

I imagine their complaints procedure will be monitored by the IP's, so, as Jan says, try that first. From my experience ( not with Freeman Jones) the support staff will field the call if you want to speak to the IP direct.

You can always email the ip directly though via the insolvency service page

Thanks Kazza, our circumstances have changed i have lost overtime allowance and we have came to the end of our Mortgage deal up by 106 per month, on the call i was also advised that i owed 244 from April to Sept 2010???? i questioned this and askl her to explain the terms of the IVA, which no apparent sense and soundnt ilke pure jargon and fluff... I was told that we should be able to afford this increase and Quote unfortunately an IVA is proactive rather than reactive??? the Tone was disgusting i wasnt listened to and everything i asked was spoken over and answered with a flat yes or more jargon. If a call tomorrow and request to speak to my IP, do you think they will speak to me. I'm Not happy with the service in general is ther anyone i can go to independently for help...

You will have to go through the complaints procedure first. Did you get the persons name?
