I currently have an iva. My job involves working overseas , and unfortunately to hire a car you need a credit card for security.

My company have offered me a company credit card, is this aloud and will it get approved?

Yes, the card is in the company name and not yours. The card company will not even credit check you.

Be careful with Amex though, as I believe they have different rules to Visa and Mastercard.

Hi, I have a Company Credit Card as my job also means that I work overseas - it is with HSBC now but I was
originally with AMEX. I had to fill in an agreement form for both cards as although they were Company cards and they are ultimately liable for the debt I have to claim the money off my Company by way of expenses that are paid directly into my bank account. This is then paid by me by way of a DD each month.

I was approved no problem by both AMEX & HSBC so I am sure you won't have a problem.

I did run this by my IP when I originally applied for the cards just to be on the safe side.

Hi
As others have said a company credit card will be fine as long as you are not liable for any spending and your company is.

The one problem with Amex charge card is that there have been cases in the past where a company has gone under and Amex have chased the holder of the card for payment. You have to check the agreement you sign.

Visa and Mastercard are fine though.
