hi to all new to the forum got creditors meeting wednesday 5th october bit sressed haven't slept much hope it all goes o.k. reading members posts is very reassuring as also girlfriend of eight years ended relationship 2 weeks ago to go 'travelling' apparently she was saving pennies while i was spending them! surprised? i certainly was as told her about i.v.a three weeks before that, ouch, just when you need love and support at a time like this! sorry to rabbit on. hoping for the best outcome and thanks to melanie and her team who have fantastic thoughout good luck to all on here, dave

Hi Daveychef good luck for Wednesday. When there is financial pressure this can bring a lot of added stress and pressure into any relationship, you're keeping your sense of humour at a very tough time. Whilst some people can hang in and deal with things others react differently and may feel the need to run away. Maybe once you have a decision you may both be able to see a way forward that you both want and whether you get back together or not good luck and keep posting. If you get worried check out my blog tears and laughter sides to an iva - look down the list its the last one near the bottom it might help you to feel that you are not on your own. Hugs

Good luck tomorrow daveychef! You'll sleep well tomorrow night when it's approved. You're with a great IP and her team.
With regards to the ex - at least you won't be needing to spend anything on her now and you can concentrate on getting through the IVA.
