Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum although I have been an IVA for a while.

I Like to ask anyone with experiences whether being committed to an IVA payment plan without defaulting could be used to say that I am discharging my debts responsibly and not show wilful neglect to the duty?

I am asking because, I recently had a credit check by an emergency employer service, and was told one had mis managed finances. Gutted!

Unfortunately - there is nowhere on credit files will it shown that you made your IVA payment on time - The IVA will remain on file for 6 years in total - regardless of whether it was paid on time /or paid off early
