Hi All,

Bit of advice if anyone can help?

I'm trying to get my credit file in order as I had a few dates which were wrong on my credit file.

I wrote letters to my creditors & all of them have changed the date & mark them satisfied apart from Natwest!! I have 3 defaults from Natwest 1 credit card, loan etc.. I even got a letter back from the Credit card department & it informed me that they will change it.

To date this hasn't happened. I remember that Max recovery took over these debts

The question is would you write to Max Recovery or all 3 credit agencies?

Write to the data controller at Max Recovery and give them 28 days in which to correct the information otherwise you will take the matter further

Write to Max Recovery - they were brilliant with me, the quickest of all my creditors to update the files.

Make sure you reference the original creditor and account number.

I will be needing the forums help to do this after the 6 years as I've never looked at my credit record ever. I'm learning a little but hopefully someone will guide me towards the right way. x
