Hi All,
I am filling out my I&E form and Im confused as to how I show what I pay for my home heating oil, I dont pay by direct debit, we have to pay before they deliver, so say I get 3 fills a year at £282 a fill do i add the 3 totals up and divide by twelve? and how would i show evidence that the price of oil has gone up for us as we do not pay by DD?
Thanks Kitty

I think I'd divide the complete total by 12 as you said and ask for a print off maybe to show how much the oil actually costs and keep a copy aswell as sending one in with your I and E papers. The only thing I'm thinking though is you have to be able to have heating etc. all year round if you need it so you need to make sure you have a supply of fills up front so that you don't end up in a position where you don't have enough money to buy these until you save it up. Why don't you have a word with your IP company and get their advice. Good luck

I would advise working out your useage for the year and dividing it by 12,makes most sense.

I just add what I spend a year on oil and divide by 12. My IP seems to be happy with that. Each time a delivery is made I keep the slip that they shove through the letterbox to prove the amount spent should it be required. x
