Ive just been accepted about a month ago for an IVA. But today have received a letter today from someone I owe money too which I had overlooked. It's for an
Old phone number which I now no longer
Use and I am not sure whether the contract is finished yet? Am I in breach of my IVA? I'm not panicking so much, what do I do? Help!

Hi -- if it is a relatively small amount and the error was genuine, then it can probably be rolled into your IVA.
Speak to your IP as soon as possible.

As a pre-iva debt it can be included in your iva so have a chat to your IP and they will advise on next steps x

I had a debt of around £3,000 that was not included in my original IVA proposal, as it was for a hire agreement where I returned the goods a year previously and had been up to date when I did this. However, two months into my IVA I received the a letter from the company that I thought I would have no more dealings with saying I owed £3,000 as I did not hire the goods for the full term agreed to. I panicked, but got onto my IP who sorted it all out. So, your IP should be able to resolve this issue without too much difficulty.
