Evening everyone from a very sunny Manchester! After weeks of sleepless nights and stomach churning butterflies my meeting is finally nearly here - Tues 5th at 11am, even typing that gave me butterflies!! I realise from reading on here that I may not get 'the call' at dead on 1105 am but how long is a reasonable time to leave it to ring up if I have not heard anything? I need to be put out of my misery asap, I dont smoke but considered taking it up just for next Tues, (joking ...havent got the budget to fund that habit) also when a meeting is adjourned, is this a common occurance? Not sure Id survive much longer if it was adjourned! thanks from a very sickly- feeling IVA wannabe!

Good luck! I am sure everything will be ok. It's not often a meeting is adjourned so don't worry.

I got my call about 45 minutes after the meeting was called ( longest 45 minutes of my life!!). Some have had to wait until the next day !!! I don't think adjournment is all that common. Many IP's will know what the creditors are after and tailor the proposal accordingly.
Fingers crossed thay you get the answer we all want .. and get it before noon!

We were told to ring up 30 minutes after the time of the meeting... we were with DFD and that was 6 years ago... don't know about other companys though. I fully understand all the butterflies etc... We were not at home at the time of the meeting and I remember sitting in a multi-storey car park feeling sick whilst making the call on my mobile.

I had an email just before regarding some modifications which were all ok, my meeting was 10.45, hubbies was 11.00 and they rang me @ 11.10 to tell me all approved.
Best moment of the year.

Good luck! My call was delayed as the person who needed to call went straight into a meeting which he couldn't avoid so I waited ages but I don't think this is common as he was really apologetic! Some people hear about 5 minutes after the deadline!
