my washing machine is playing me up something rotten, tried to get it fixed but no use, was just wondering are you aloud to buy something and pay it over 12 months or is this completely not aloud in an IVA

You would have to speak to your IP - could you possibly take a payment break to fund this?

Otherwise have a look at Freecycle - you could possibly get one for nothing on there.
