I am a teacher applying for a new job. If i have an IVA will anyone know?

Not unless your are credit checked...and you will have to give express permission for this so you'll know before it happens. Your financial history isn't part of the CRB check. Good luck with the job! x

Hi katie - welcome to the forum - you details will appear on the Insolvency Register (as required by law)during the whole time in the IVA.

Unless specifically asked you won't have to inform anyone and as ginger says, it will just appear on the Insolvency Register.
