and counting. Thank fully this one is dated for after the creditors meeting. But don't the dapartments talk. Whats the point of sending a default notice when the meeting is 2 days before hand and if succesful everything will default??

They have to send you a default notice in order to report to the credit reference agencies. They cannot do so without sending you the default.
What you really want, is all the default notices to arrive before you start your IVA. That way the default dates are more likely to tie in with the date of your IVA when it comes to clearing your credit file.

They don't mean a lot to be honest now you are so close.
You may find that creditors will put defaults on your account after acceptance, one of mine has done so every month.
Once I've completed then I shall be writing to anyone who has defaulted me and telling them to remove said defaults.

What they are doing Jan is showing that your account is still in Default. They can do that, as they are recording the state of your account at the moment, you still owe them the money until such time you satisify the IVA.
It's not 6 years from when the last default update is put on an account. It is the original default date which is the key date for removal as once 6 years from that date is reached, the whole account including all subsequent default markers will be removed at the same time.

I know that which is why I'm not worried at the moment and will sort it out at the end.
