My IVA finished last August, and I have recently accessed my Experian credit report, and there is no mention of the IVA whatsoever, less than 12 months after completion!
Are the gods smiling on me, or could it still be on one of my other credit rpeorts say Call credit or Equifax do you think?

The Public Record of your IVA falls off shortly after completion. The Defaulted Debts included in the IVA fall off your Credit Report 6 years after Date of IVA Acceptance.
The Insolvency Service keep your details on file for another couple of years but not on the public register.
Hope that helps

Sounds good for Experian but I'd check the others as well to make sure.
If you are shown as having defaults after the date of IVA acceptance then get those creditors to remove them.

Actually the IVA stays on your credit report for the full 6 years, along with the defaults. It is odd that it has dropped off Experian early.
It comes of the insolvency register straight away, despite the 3 months it says on their site.
If it were me, I would not rock the boat.

Hi Matrix
It does NOT always come off the Insolvency Register straight away, my completion cert was issued 2/3/2011 and the footnote says it will stay on for a further 3 months, and to date I am still on there

When I obtained my Credit Report it has a section of Public Records which my IVA came under. If I am taken off the Public Insolvency Register then that is not Public Register anymore and shouldn't be on there as far as I am concerned

Experian have never recorded my IVA! I certainly was not going to challenge them about it.
My record on the Insolvency service database was removed two days after my Certificate of full implementation was issued, again, not something I'm going to be concerned about.
On the other hand Equifax have seen fit to record the removal from the IS database in the Notice of Correction section. No idea why as the IVA is correctly recorded in the Court section. Why they need to duplicate and record that something has been removed escapes me and I have challenged them. Will see what they say.

I've never bothered to check mine but think I will in the near future just to take a look, are these free ones any good?

I used the free annual credit check and whilst it's ok, it's not brilliant.
I'll be waiting now until I've finished I think.

I think I'll leave mine too, I've never bothered but now find myself curious because of posts. Tempted but know what it's going to say really don't I? x

I think we do! Once I've made my final payment then I'll look again and start to tidy it up.

I have never even seen a credit report before! How bad is that?
I don't think I will bother now anyway!

No I won't Jan.
Although I do look forward to the time when I can clear them. I know I had a near perfect record before my IVA

Never mind!
