I received my proposal today, i have read through it twice, and am happy with everything in it, seems quite straight forward really including the explanation of equity release .
if all goes well (fingers crossed) i will be paying back 29p/£
i have signed and posted it back this afternoon, so should hear next week when my creditors meeting is.
i am relieved to finally be at this stage, waiting for the proposal felt like forever, when in fact its only been 7 -8 weeks and most of that has been waiting for documentation to confirm mortgage and child tax credits etc.

You will soon be on the IVA journey and your life will change - you will become hung up on budgeting and living within your means ! Time flys while in an IVA and we found it very rewarding - it really does help to focus your mind ! Good luck !

i have worked out it is likely my meeting will be during the first week of may, i know i have to be available to take a call on the day of my creditors meeting.
due to the nature of my work it is near impossible to take calls during the day, so i have emailed the company i am with informing them of my days off that week, and am hoping my meeting could be arranged for one of them.
Or would the easter bank holiday hold things up, when they say 16 days is it just that or is it 16 working days?

I have been told I must be available on the phone, incase creditors ask for anything to be modified. To be honest I wouldn't be able to concentrate in work anyway, and would rather be at home on this day.

Hi kat. Would there be a private room available at work that you could take the call in?? Could you take some time off? Don't worry though. It will all work out just fine. Glad you have got your proposal through. Not long now! xx

No none of that would be possible judo, I work in the nhs and a days work for me is entirely unpredictable, and impossible to leave if I'm in the middle of something. But it should be ok I have provided Elaine Giles firm with a list of my days off, and if it is not possible for them to schedule on one of these days then I will apply for an annual leave day, although even they cant be guaranteed in these times.
