Another question, but don't worry, I am not moaning or whinging this time!
We have never been asked to provide payslips and we are approaching the end of yr 2. Will they ask this time do you think? Or will we get a "nice" suprise at the end of the 5 / 6 years??

Hi mumsmushroom - have you been asked to provide a P60? If I were you, I'd call the IP and ask if they need the payslips. I'm surprised no proof of income has been requested at reviews.

Did you have an annual review at the end of year 1?

It is surprising you haven't been asked to provide payslips as these are their primary way of verifying your income. To be on the safe side, give them a call tomorrow and see what's going on. Or even send an email so you have a paper trail of their response.

If you are being proactive and asking all the right questions, you can't be held to account at a later date for any mistakes.

Who is your IP mumsmushroom? Some don't ask for a P60. I have never had to provide one yet.

I would speak to your IP though to sort out what you need to provide for an annual review.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies. We have not been asked for P60 or anything at all. We received a letter at the end of year 1 advising us everything was going really well but that was it. I have asked them 3 times now if they need anything, and just after the 1st years review I sent them copies of the payslips anyway, as I felt better for at least trying, they sent me the copies back with a compliment slip saying "thank you for your documentation, we will now proceed", but I have heard nothing else. I will do the same this year and send them in voluntarily. But I just find it a little odd.
All we want is to pay as much back as we can, and sleep well at night again x

Which firm are you with?

That is unusual for them not to ask for any proof of income.

Hiya, We are with Blair. Our IP changed last year, we received a letter saying someone else was handling it, and I am wondering if this is where the confusion has started. Anyway, I will check with them tomorrow as I already think we will need a year added due to very very negative equity in a house i rent out (we live as a family in a rented house as we had to sell ours a year before we had to go on an IVA). I dont want the situation to be any worse at the end of yr 5! Especially with another baby on the way! Watch it, I may start moaning again!!!

We have a few posters with Blair Endersby who may be around tomorrow to share their experiences of annual reviews. Blair also have an email address in the experts section which is another route to getting an answer (the squeaky wheel and all that)!! X

I am really suprised you have not had to send payslips in every 6 months, we are with BE as well and we get a letter reminding us to send them in, stating we will be in breach if we do not send them in. That was all they wanted at the review no P60 just payslips (the last 3 as they had seen all the others) and a signed I & E form which they sent us.

I am more worried now than I was! I will call them this afternoon and ask them again, I cannot cope with much more stress, I feel like I did 2 years ago when everything got on top of me, almost like I cant deal with it all. SO many things are going wrong at the moment. Never mind, something will sort itself out, I mean, it has to right?!

Your IVA will now be in the process of being transferred to Grant Thornton but you have nothing to worry about.

As long as you comply with any requests from your IP then you will be fine.

Not sure exactly where things stand at the moment but I think that existing clients will be transferred across - I'd give BE a call at the moment though to see how things stand.
