Sorry guys I m not good at using this forum n lost my post last week so could not reply.

Creditors meeting on Monday I m so nervous.
What are the chances of it to be approved? Will the creditors postpone the vote or would not approve at all. All week I was expecting IP to ring with creditors queries but none, spoken to case worker too but he not received any queries or rejection. Can I consider it is good news or simply cos my creditors fed up I never answer their call hence wanted to drop the bad news on Monday. I know it sound so silly as I m sick with worries.
My life is on hold as I don't know what will be the result n I do hope they gave me the answer on Monday n will not postpone. I have been waiting for this day ages.

Hi Happy. Try not to worry ( I know that's easier said than done), your IP wouldn't put the proposal forward if he / she didn't think it had a good chance of being accepted.

The results will not be known until the appointed time (apparently some of my creditors didn't vote until the last minute). The voters won't know anything about whether you have answered calls or not.... those calls come from call centres ( often in exotic places) and they have no idea what is going on!

We have had very few rejections lately. Fingers crossed and best of luck.

Hi, foggy is right, IP's don't put a case forward if they don't feel they can't get it accepted,that should give you hope!

no it doesn't sound silly, we were both sick with worry before our meeting,as are most people.

the tiredness is all part of the dreadful stress,even when i managed to sleep i dreamt about debt collectors coming round,beating my hubby up.

Hey all thanks for your support n advise. I will keep you guys informed. The stress is taking it's toll, I have been poorly with one thing after another for months. My creditors meeting at 1130am. I wish they are earlier.

No, your meeting will take place at the appointed time. If there are problems (which I doubt) then it can be adjourned for up to 14 days.

You'll be fine!

Have faith in your IP. They know their stuff and wouldn't put a proposal forward unless it had a very good chance of success. Good luck xx
