can a joint IVA be changed to individuals when a couple seperate / divorce?

Hi Frazzled and welcome! Joint IVAs are actually two interlocking individual IVAs so they can be split. Speak to your IP about yur divorce as your may need to complete a new I&E for your change of circumstances to ensure the iva is affordable still. Sorry to hear your news xx

I'm sorry to hear that Frazzled. Welcome to the forum.

As Broke says there is nothing to stop your IVAs continuing separately if it's still the right solution - you'll just need to talk to your IP and submit new expenditure information to make sure that the payments are still affordable.
