Well, I don't post often on here but when I do I love reading all the sound advice/support/discussions which people have....

I just wanted to say - I am with Payplan, they've been fab all the way through....Melanie Giles has given me a fair bit of advice too...

I am one year in now and I can't believe it!

I had my annual review which was soooo much more simple than I'd expected...just a simple I & E update, no copies of anything needed....so, my IVA payment stayed the same....

With the contingency money I'd put away and not used my hubby and I had a nice long weekend away in Spain last weekend to celebrate....and how fab arriving home and everythin was already paid for and no costs left lingering now!!!

I love being on the road to a debt-free life...the IVA has definitely made me look more closely at things and I feel soooo much better for it.

Anyone in, at beginning, mid or end of an IVA, DMP, BR or any agreement with creditors.....it really is worth it.....

Hope all are well on here.....look forward to trying to become more of a regular poster

Glad to hear everything is going so well, sounds like you have managed really well being able to afford a weekend away, hubby and I are hoping to get a cheap late deal somewhere(providing such a thing still exists LOL) with our contingency money and extra's we have managed to save off our food bill etc.
I can only echo your sentiments about the DMP,IVA, BR being worth it, it is such a huge stress relief when all the hassle stops.

Excellent news debt attack and nice to see you again.

Glad you enjoyed your little break - it's great when you can do something like that.

We've just done our annual review and I agree that it has been painless. All done over the phone which is Payplan's way and our payments have remained the same as well.

Pandy - you will feel so pleased with yourselves when you manage to have a mini break....although I hate giving them my money...Ryanair have some fab deals, as do greatlatedeals.co.uk for accommodation......

Seek and you shall find lol!

Kallis - am really pleased you've got through your 3rd one - bet you're really pleased!! Have your payments remained the same all the way from the beginning then, fab if so!!

Take care all and have a nice weekend! x

Glad to see you just had a basic I & E to complete.

Not many mention contingent funds on here, if I didn't have one , just had to find a £1,000 for car repair my IVA would probably fail most months.

Not many mention Gas,Electric and Petrol all going up but do look solely at the interest of the IP.

If you don't have sizable contingent funds , spare cash beyound the IVA not sure what most people would do.

I already spent £3,000 on my car last year so if anything else happens will probably have to borrow money (from sister) to get a better one.
