At the moment, we're fine, but will probably have problems in the future.

We are just about managing although the C tax break has helped, come April when it is due again things might be different.

Just about managing but if things get any more expensive then I think we will be on beans on toast for dinner and we will have to have a word with our landlord to see if we can use the piece of land outside our garden to grow some veg.Hubby has already said he will take the shotgun out to bag a few rabbits which he can turn into pies.

Pootling along ... not an extravagent life, but not the work house either! I live in Primark tee-shirts and if petrol keeps going up ( which direction it always goes in) I will just walk more. Thank goodness I downsized to a much cheaper car to run.

thats funny carole-I have a bit of soil at the top of the garden i have been thinking about growing some veggies in !!!!!desperate times.
We have been struggling a bit the last couple of months what with the price of everything going up.My son - who is eight is growing an inch a week so forever buying clothes and shoes for him-just gone into a size 6 shoe !!!!!
Anyway-hubby got promotion last month so will find out how much at the end of the month-his colleagues reckon about 4-600 a month-worked out on increments.
So come the 1st of March I have a new expenditure figure ready for iva firm and a new income figure(when payslip comes).
Thank God-thats all I can say-I feel now there wont be a panic on every time something crops up.
We will have to do the 50/50 split immediately but at least there will be enough in the pot every month for continual growth spurts !!!

Thankfully we don't have the kids anymore. Not primark for me, supermarket value or Ebay! Just got three pairs of leggings from Ebay for £1.82!

Yes, I must admit my ebay bill has gone up :0). They have good one off bargains each week at Lidl too.

Don't do Lidl. Got a few bargains in Sainsburys the other week - two tops and a pair of shorts for £1 each!

I never used to, Jan. But they send around a flyer every week and, now and then, there is something worthwhile on special.

We get the flyers, don't ever go there though.

I never go to Lidl - I went in there once and wasn't impressed (same with Aldi) so it's Tesco for me.

It's Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys in that order for me.

I have recently re-discovered Morrisons, but my main supermarket is Tesco -- mainly because I save the points through the year for Christmas.

lidl aldi and netto always look a bit grubby to me so I dont shop in them
-dont like the look of the meat either-looks like the stuff you get on holiday in faraway places !!!
cant beat asda-especially when they reduce the bakery stuff.
