Well in the Giles household the turkey is defrosted, the sprouts are peeled and the wine opened - and having spent all day doing last minute shopping in Cardiff, I am in the middle of wrapping and finalising the decorations.
Peronally this is not my favourite time of year, as I hate the hype and the pressure on families to conform with the commercialism, but I am looking forward to a couple of work free days now to spend time with my family and especially to catch up on Corrie which is on my Sky plus as I haven't even seen the tram crash episode yet!
The highlight of my holiday, of course will be watching the Fourth Test in Melbourne tomorrow night - and I am going to attempt to watch it all live this time! Just hope that Andrew and the boys are not too stuffed on their turkey to be unable to give the Aussies a run for their money.
Just wanted to take the opportunity to wish all forum members, my friends, fellow professionals and colleagues a very Merry Christmas wherever you are, and keep warm if the weather is still bad where you live. Special thoughts go to friends serving in Afghanistan, with prayers to keep heads down and come home safely.
With grateful thanks also to the people behind this wonderful forum, without which so many people would have not found the right debt solution over the last year, and for others who have received support, guidance and friendship from being members of this forum let's hope that 2011 brings a better year for you all.
A very happy time to everyone, and with grateful thanks for all of the support and kind words provided to myself and my staff over the last year. In my native language:-
