It is with regret that I have to announce the cancellation of the party on Saturday due to the weather.

Apologies to everyone who said they were coming, such a pity as it had promised to be a good night.

It is a shame and won't lie that I'm not disappointed. Hubby and I will still go to the hotel as it's paid for and I've accounted for my diesel so it'll be a night away if nothing else. xx

Its a pity, but like you say the weather is awful, hasn't hit birmingham or coventry yet, but its due tonight at some point, currently im sat waiting looking out the window, please snow!!

I hope you can come down Helen. Weather is bad here as well, we've just had a heavy snow shower and more forecast for tomorrow.

Gutted that it has been cancelled but we couldn't bank on the weather.

At this stage we'll probably still go to the hotel, as it's paid for and we did have a secondary purpose in that our daughter is at Uni nearby. Not sure what we'll do in the evening though as I suspect daughter won't want to be seen with the crusties on a Saturday night!

I think Lesley is planning on doing that fsg - you may be able to meet up.

I'm really disappointed that it's been cancelled. Even though it didn't look like we'd be able to go due to the weather I was hoping it would improve!

I'd even borrowed a pair of heels to go with my dress!

My dress will be ready for next year!

I'm hoping to be another stone lighter by then so with any luck it won't fit!

We'll probably fix another one for after Christmas when the weather improves.

We'll be going thefsg weather dependant I would imagine as it's paid for and the diesel accounted for so I can't waste that money, I'm gutted like the rest and although the weather here isn't too bad at the minute there are no guarantees it's not going to turn. x
