We are currently under IVA, but is considering immigrating to Australia. We are also considering going bankcrupt, so we can make a new start in Australia. Will we be able to do that?

You can continue with your IVA from Australia if you wish.

It's worth checking out visa requirements before deciding anything. If you go without secured employment the financial requirements can be quite strict. They basically need to know you can support yourself and won't drain the state until you're working. Eg My grandparents have been out there over 25 years and aren't entitled to a pension.

"Eg My grandparents have been out there over 25 years and aren't entitled to a pension."
And our country gives immigrants money practically as soon as they hit the shore, also gives them child benefit for chidren in their home land, No wonder this country is in a mess.
Question ?
How long until your IVA finishes ?
