I am changing from an dmp to IVA, want to sell my house, will have some equity, will they let me use some to pay for relocation and rent deposit?
I am flling in my budget for for the iva, can i put down money for cigarettes? where can i finda list of the amount i can claim for,
sorry for so many question, just feeling a bit scared.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
If you are thinking of selling your house then you need to inform a prospective IP of this, you will be allowed to keep money for expenses but anything else will have to be paid across to the IVA.
You can put down for cigarettes, don't know how much though as it does seem to vary from IP to IP.

It seems reasonable that if you are going to sell your house to introduce monies into an IVA for the benefit of creditors, that you keep a reasonable sum aside for rental deposit and the cost of moving.
Work out how much you spend on cigarettes and then let the IP know, but do try to use this as an excuse to give up. You will save money and be healthier too!
