Hi, in a DMP with CCCS and recently received a letter from Citi Cards (who have been really good) to say they have sold the debt on to Opus, a credit card run by Bank of Scotland. Anybody had dealings with Opus, are they likely to still run with the DMP or do they try and play hardball!
cheers[:)]

You will probably be ok skint. Companies who buy debts usually play ball.
Hope you are well?

Hi
I came across this last week where a client had his Citi card sold to Opus and his interest shot up. He said that he wasn't in arrears

That's not good news then. I know all of my debts were sold on when we had the DMP and all continued to play ball.

We've heard from Citi Cards regarding this. I think a lot of the portfolio is being transferred over to Opus this weekend.
It remains to be seen whether existing debt management plan agreements will be maintained. Bank of Scotland are normally reasonable when it comes to DMP's so fingers crossed.

well, I'll have to wait and see what happens
I'll let you know if they start slapping on the interest - its a shame as Citi were spot on and really helpful, shame if it takes a step back!

another thing, CCCS did say that they sent my financial breakdown to Opus so fingers cross they see that without their help my DMP won't work.
