OK, IVA approved and gone through and was wondering if we should shred all our credit card statements?
Except maybe the last couple of months just to make sure creditors are claiming what we actually owed.
I know it might seem strange but i feel that if i do this it will feel like i am starting with a clean slate.[:)]

Hi baldy, I'm not sure whether it's advisable to shred everything. But I did the same and it is very cathartic!! I just kept the last statement from each creditor. Felt like I was getting rid of toxic waste!!

My IVA file is a wonder to behold! If only my finances were this well organised a few years ago...

Mine have all gone now although only this year approximately about 2 months ago, I had a good clear out x

I would hang on to them for a few months in case there are any queries, or parcel them up and send them to your IP.

Keep `em baldy...I`m still getting statements with charges and interest, I`ve been sending them to my case administrator.

I shredding everything!! Only because I had stuff going back 10 years and was taking up too much room.

I would keep the last 1 of each and get rid of the rest. At least then you have something to fall back on if the question it at a later date.
I still have some old ones filed away from when I used to be alright with my finances

We haven't got a shredder at the moment and I'm too tight to buy another one!
