hi everyone, not posted for a while but had a lot going on.it all started last year after business difficulties and personal financial problems.i went on a dmp for a while and looked at an iva but in the end i went bankrupt and was discharged in july.the wife went br as well in march and got early discharge in september.all this time our mortgage co went for repo and in february got a 28 day possession order.we were on housing list as a priority and thought we would be out bymarch/april.but as of today after going through mortgage rescue we are now under ownership of housing association on a 3 yr agreement and so dont have to move .i cant thank my council woman enough for getting us through as it has been a long pprocess and at times didnt think we would get there as there was a big shortfall on monies.im posting to let anyone else know that if they are in a similar position of losing there house it is possible to stay even though there are quite a few obstacles on the way.the mortgage rescue scheme is to carry on as well as there were rumours it was stopping but 200 million is being put in .as for us we have a pretty good future to look forward to now after 2 bad years and a lot of testing times.thanks

That is great news and will be really helpful to many people. Best wishes for the future.

Great news and well done to a council helping out rather than not being bothered to try and help.

That is the first positive story I have read about this scheme, so it is great to see that it is serving its purpose at long last.
