I am currently 1 year into my iva and live in rented accomodation but im planning to move in and get married to my boyfriend. My boyfriend is aware of my iva but would not be willing to provide his personal details to my IVA provider. How will this affect my IVA and what information would my IP require from us?

If you are marrying your IP will need to have details of your partner's income in order to assess whether you are continuing to pay contributions at the correct level. Why would your partner have any objection to providing his details?

He is adament that he is not sending any info to anyone, he says his earnings has nothing to do with anyone else and he is not disclosing his wage slip with all his information eg: NI number, bank details. How will this affect me if we just live together, are the same details needed? [:(]

Hi, are you planning to split costs 50/50 or according to earning power? Whichever you decide, you will need to complete a new I&E for your IP to gauge your new disposable income. Hopefully, the ip will accept it on trust. I understand totally about your boyfriend - mine is the same. Congrats on your engagement.

I fully understand your boyfriend's position and if you split the bills 50/50 this should be acceptable. Your boyfriend has no obligation to your creditors and this should have no affect on your IVA.
