Hi John and welcome to the forum, dance classes for your daughter may not be an essential but worth discussing with a prospective IP, mobile phones, sky TV etc., can be included but all at a minimum cost and if dance classes aren't allowed you can save the amount of these classes from other areas of your expenditure maybe, it's worth contacting 2 or 3 prospective IP's to go through your I&E with you and they can advice case specifically.
Try
www.iva.com for a list of companies and some reviews of these.
You would definitely have to declare any other extra income or wage rises to your IP once you're in your IVA. x

The CCCS website has a budget tool that lists their headings for what can be included. If there is anything else you want included put it down on your I&E...don't ask don't get and they can only say no.
I fell foul of not having a pension when I started my iva...if you have one you can pay the basic amount, if you dont have one before the proposal is accepted you may have difficulty joining after as the creditors aren't keen on this.

Welcome from me as well. It certainly is worth discussing. Don't forget to include such things as school dinners as well.
Excellent advice and link provided by Lesley.
