Hi All,

Having completed iva in April via a full and final settlement, i have been eagerly awaiting my certificate of completion so i know it is at an end (no surprises lol)

I have been in touch wth DFD a number of times with them stating it will be with me in 10 days(over and over again), there latest reason was that the ip could not sign it off as the fees was incorrect again lol(i had that excuse in between they was waiting for all the claims to come in)

Phoning DFD has become a nightmare to get through has anyone else who had long delays in respnses with DFD?? and is there a reasonable timescale for receiving your completion certficate?

Thanks for yor help once again

This is very poor customer service, and I know Helen had to wait a long time for her certificate of completion.

Declan from DFD is now back from his holidays, so hopefully he will pick up on this and look into it for you.

Hopefully he will pick up on this.

I know Helen had to wait a while but it was sorted eventually. I am sure Declan will pick up on this on Monday,

I suggest that you ask to speak to your IP personally to find out why they have not been able to finalise their closure report.

We are struggling to get our F&F proposal document from DFD and Declan is now involved to try and speed this up - 3rd party has the funds waiting in the bank for us, but it has already taken 6 weeks and we still have not received it !

I agree their comms seem to have ground to a snail pace at the moment - it could just be the sheer volume though !

Firms should only take on the correct amount of work they are resourced to do, however I do not feel that six weeks is unreasonable with regard to a variation proposal. Get Declan to find out exactly when you can expect to receive the revised proposals.

Thanks for your replys, if i have had no success with my latest promise then i will certainly take Mels advice and try to contact my IP personally.

Hi
Just picking this up. I agree that it is unreasonable to wait this long and this is something i am working on strenuously internally. given holidays and so forth, we had a lot of people off which slowed alot of things down but again this is no reason to wait so long and we should hold our hands up. On-the-up -I will chase this up for you internally as you have waited far too long now and should not be fobbed off.
Lulu - same applies to you, I’m pushing your case up the list.

Thanks

Hi Rob
I have chased this up for you internally and you will have the certificate next week in the post. I will email you a copy separately either today or tomorrow.
Once again, apologies for the time this has taken and it should never have been so long.

Thanks

Hi Declan,

Thanks for your help, i will eagerly await it's arrival, i wont get too excited just yet as i have been made these promises before, but admittedly every time you have said something, it has happened and i appreciate that.

Thanks again
