I see that GMTV and Moneysavingexpert have got into trouble for promoting a commercial business. It says in the article that while there is no advertising, the site makes its money as'commercial organisations pay the website for thousands of links embedded within its editorial, which directs visitors through to their services.'

Given that the CCCS have links and are actively promoted on this site I am curious as to whether they pay for this. If so why would a charity pay a commercial organisation to promote them?

Hi Michael,

CCCS do not pay for advertising on Moneysavingexpert.
