Hi guys,
After much discussion with our IP, and having now submitted evidence of negative equity in our property, we have officially put forward an offer of full and final settlement to hopefully end our IVA. I just wanted to know roughly how long does it take to set up the variation meeting with creditors? We are with DFD if that helps. Thanks :)

I am not sure the timescale at DFD but I am sure Declan can answer this one when he sees it. I doubt it would be very long if you have provided all the required information. Good luck with the offer.

Thank you Declan, but we've only just submitted the offer yesterday, and I know it has been passed to the relevant team to deal with. The lady we've been dealing has been extremely helpful, and I just really wondered what the general timescale would be, if there is such a thing! Thank you guys for your support, it has been a long slog the last 4 years, but hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnell! XX

Hi Jen,

No real set time scale but i am sure DFD will keep you posted and am sure Declan will be more than happy to chase things if you haven't heard anything soon.

Good luck

Hi Jen,

Just to let you know that i am with DFD and am also going through a full and final settlement, i put mine through in writing on the 16/2/10 with all the relevant paperwork they asked for, i had a phonecall last week to go through the proposal and am now waiting for the draft to sign off for the variation meeting to be arranged, so all in all i have been waiting for around a month with no firm date as of yet.

Hope this helps and gives you a rough idea, and good luck with your offer.

Rob

Hi Jen
On-the-up is correct re the timescales. I will keep an eye on it for you if you like (the same offer applies to you on - the - up as well!).

Thanks
