As from 3rd March, I am officially redundant. I'm just waiting for conformation of payment I will receive - had a draft copy but the figures were wrong, over £1000 too low! Surprisng they can get it wrong, especially as I had supplied what the correct figures should be before I opted for voluntary redundancy.

Hopefully I'll get another job pretty soon otherwise we'll have to contact OR to revise the IPA payments.

Half time mascot at the footie pays well but you would have to bump off Cybil first!!!

On a serious note, how likely are you to get another job soon?

Fingers crossed for you Julie.

Thanks both,

There are jobs around but salaries are a lot lower than what I'm used to, but hey ho so will the stress element be lower.

I couldn't be the mascot Paul...I'd be running on the pitch everytime someone fouled our players [:D][:D]

I'm taking my 6 year old granddaughter to her first ever live game today...I'm hoping she'll be my lucky mascot [:D]

I've signed up with a few agencies and quite fancy doing a bit of NVQ assessing for a change and to use my qualification! so fingers crossed [:)]

Hi Julie,
Good to see your online again, should be a good win for The Swans today. I hope one day to have grandkids and take them to footy matches although I'd probably be reminding them of how 'it wasn't like this when I went to the match' that's assuming there are still teams to go and watch in light of recent problems.

Hope the job front brings something along quickly for you.

Thanks Jan,

I'm a bit annoyed that I still haven't received my letter with the correct figures on. I've emailed 3 times today! As tomorrow is supposed to be my last official day I was hoping to get it all done & dusted.

I've dropped you an email Melanie, thanks again xx
