Hi, and welcome to the forum.

If you can continue making the payments as they are, and are happy to do so, then continue. You do need to let your IP know about the change in circumstances.

As to the car, this is also something you need to sort out with your IP.

Are you both going to be able to maintain the payments if your ex is going to have to fund his own accommodation?

How much are you currently paying into your IVA, and how much is new living accomodation and a new car likely to cost?

we are currently paying £370 for iva, accomodation is going to cost about £400 and to lease would be about £260. We reckon that we will continue to be able to afford it because me and the children (4) have appled for extra tax credits etc so my income will increase

If you can maintain the IVA payments at the current level then there is no reason for the IVA to fail - so arrange for a chat with your IP to let them know about your change of circumstnaces and to take advice about what to do moving forward.
