Hi,

You will get to keep your redundancy to fund yourself whilst still looking for work and then once you do you will have to hand it over to your IP

I think that you need to clarify the position directly with DFD. None of us are qualified to give you specific advice about your case, as we do not have detailed knowledge of your circumstances. Perhaps Declan from DFD can help to steer you in the right direction.

If you don't manage to find any other employment, then you can always ask your IP for a payment break once the redundancy has run out.

Hi Mel
If you wouldnt mind emailing me with either your case reference number or just your full name / post code, I will happily get this looked at for you as a matter of urgency. My email address is listed on my profile page under "ask the experts".

Thanks
