can anyone tell who finds out about me getting an iva,as i have a punch lease and it states that i could lose my lease if i go bankcrupt or go into liquidation but it does not say anything about an iva, please help.

Nobody around you would know unless you tell them. However there is the website www.insolvency.gov.uk which is open to the general public so anyone can check who is on there.

Your IP would need to look at the lease and almost certainly inform Punch Taverns. They are a contingent creditor in that they could become a creditor at any stage if you default on the terms of the lease.

Many Pubcos are happy with their lessees entering IVAs since over 50 pubs a week are closing and many publicans are going bankrupt. They will continue to be paid and supply the pub so it is in their interest to support IVAs from their tenants.

As I have said in my earlier post, Punch are supportive of IVA proposals so long as this does not affect them receiving their rent and you buying their beer.
