My boyfriend has asked me to marry him, will this affect my iva. My fella knows about the iva, but as the debts were accrude before I met him and my iva was in place before I met him, will they still need to know as obviously my name will change. Will they expect me to pay more.

All that you will have to do is prove that you are both paying your fair share towards household expenses once you move in together.

This may free up more disposable income or you so you may have to pay more across.

Once you move in together then you need to speak to your IP and probably fill in a new I&E so your payments can be assessed.
