Hi everyone
I have been looking at your sight off and on for sometime and you all seam to support each other everso! I am at the start of the process, well not even started as such! I have just come to the conclusion that we have a problem. I have loads of credit cards, loans etc, etc> I have to date not missed any payments but soon it will start, I am running out of options a credit. I am considering an IVA but am every worried that it wont be accepted. All in all we can offer about £350 per month for debts excess of £70K. Do you know of anyone who has been rejected? Any advise I would welcome and hope to start the process soon. Should I wait until I cannot make payments for seek advise now?

If I were you I would seek advice now! If you look at www.iva.com you will see a list of IPs and their reviews. From a personal point of view I can highly suggest Melanie Giles ho has an outstanding reputation. Melanie got my husband's IVA(a difficult one off type) through at first attempt when other companies told him he would never get an IVA> J

You definitely need to seek professional help. As elv5 says a visit to www.iva.com is a good way to start, do take time to speak to 2 or 3 firms to get a balanced look at what ALL your options are. Any reputable company will be happy to run through your options with you on a no obligation basis.

Further, the earlier you seek advice then the earlier the problem will be sorted for you, so waiting until you can't pay doesn't make too much sense in the long run.

You have the makings of a very good IVA there - but there will be other options, so do take time out to contact an insolvency practitioner who can give you advice on all of them on a completely independent basis.
