I am definitely NOT missing the 12+ phone calls a day since our IVA was approved. It's still sinking in, thank you so much Melanie, Tom, Angela and Melanie N x

It's great isn't it. No more having to look at caller display.
The postman hardly ever visits now. I think he may have to go part time now we are in an IVA.[8D]
Seriously though. I used to feel guilty getting my 12 year old son to ignore calls from 08 numbers. I used to tell him it was people trying to sell us something we didn't want.
I think he picked up on the stress we were going through even though we thought we were hiding it.
I felt dreadful when I realised he had hidden a letter from school about a school trip, saying he didn't want to go when I knew he would have liked to go.

It is wonderful when the only calls you get are from friends and relatives and the only mail is mostly junk!

I felt guilty telling our 11 year old son not to pick up the phone as it was someone trying to sell us something. I am just so grateful that the proposal went through 1st time

No bills through the post now as mine are all paperless. Other than the odd genuine letter, it's all junk.

Today was just a small brochure advertising various catalogues - it went straight in the recycling.

This sounds all quite good. I await the day it happens to me.

It feels like a breath of fresh air. Our lives are back on track and we can now see an end to the mountain of debt we had x

our mail stopped almost instantly but MBNA called almost daily - from about 9.01am over and over despite being told our IVA was approved three weeks ago. Hubby has repeatedly told them ref numbers and to contact cleardebt - on Monday he did quote all the law bits that were previously posted on here and said that we would be taking action for harrassment should they choose to continue to call and (touch wood) we've had no calls since

thanks Julie - this was the first MBNA phone call free weekend since January I think and I'm quite pleased as we had friends staying. Cleardebt had said to give it a few weeks to pass through the system and did offer to contact them on our behalf should it continue - I even picked the phone up on Saturday afternoon to make sure it was still working [;)]
