i am currently in an iva and wondered if i could claim back any bank charges and missold policys and put it into my iva to try and reduce it?i know that the charges alone would probably be hundreds, but not sure wether i can apply as i am in the iva

You probably can - but the proceeds would come into the IVA so in reality you would get no personal gain - although your other creditors might as a result.
