hi all i have been on this site many tims before and it has been so reassuring. i have been reading some of the subjects in the forum and i am just concerned about a few things and was wondering if u could clarify a few things i have been in an IVA for 2 and 1/2 years now back in feb i moved in with my boyfriend who has got his own house (does this affect my IVA?). i was also wondering when my 5 yrs is up 'is that it? do i have to pay anythiong else to anyone or can i get on with my life? sorry hope it makes sense!

It should not affect your IVA, but if your living costs have gone up or down as a result of your move then you may find that your disposable income is recalculated at the annual review.

Unless stated otherwise in the propsal, your IVA should end at the five year point - leaving you discharged from your debts legally and nothing further to pay.

So long as you have met your obligations, you should be released at the end of the 5 year period. Good to know you're more than half-way through!
