Hi,
Why do you think you have been mis-sold an IVA?? Have you received a letter telling you so from a company?

Did they cover all your options when you entered the IVA? they should have gone over both DMP & BR and advised you on your best route.
Also as rayb has asked, if you have received a letter from one of your creditors outlining why you shouldn't be in an IVA then ignore it, you took the step to sort out your situation, now that it probably unfavorable to your creditors so they will try and make you feel like you made the wrong choice.

i was told by a company that i could get an iva, but after speaking to a few people on here and viki from Vincent Bond, and iva was a no go, only bankruptcy, so the compay which offered the iva to me had to be lieing

Hi Steven, lieing is pretty strong statement, different companies will have different success levels based on given situations, So where Viki at VB has said an IVA would be a no go, it would only be based on VB's criteria for passing it on. (VB do not have IP's they just pass your paperwork onto a licensed IP)
I have an IVA but I was actually advised that bankruptcy is was better option for me, so a good IP will go through your options with you.
There are people on here who have been told different things from different companies, I know Melanie's company gets some very unlikely cases agreed when others have said BR is the only option.
The company you approached that said they would or could get you an IVA may well have written a proposal that did get agreed by the creditors.
