God I cant believe this I felt so happy after speaking to Mike in cleardebt he was so great and gave me a glimmer then I get told that I may be losing my job!! so even though I could still make the payments I probably now can't do one and will have to go down the DRO option which I dont want to do as I want to train to become a prosecution Lawyer and if a DRO is like Bankruptcy it will effect it.

Its one step forward 5 steps back I only got told 2 m inutes ago that my friend may have to let me go as he is really struggling.

Uch I know my parents would help me with the payments until I found employment which is the annoying thing

Please help!!!!

Joanna, I'm so sorry to hear that and I really hope you find another job soon if you do lose your job.

You need to speak to Mike and let him know of the possible change in circumstances.

Sorry to hear this joannal - but you did say might? Why do you think you will lose it?[:0]

Remember a DRO might be useful to get rid of your debts if you qualify - see my blog- and moving into your mum's and then having under £50 of DI will allow you to finish your training.

Speak to Mike again after the Easter break.[:)]

To the person who wants to be a lawyer. I mentioned your post to a solicitor friend of mine - he said try to avoid B/R like the plague but (and this may mean something to you) before you do anything drastic have a word with the SRA. He knows a solicitor who had an IVA (Melanie Giles sorted him a few years ago) and that will not be a problem except some firms may not allow you to be a signatory on Clients Account - if they know of the IVA
