Hi.i was in an IVA that failed in Dec 2007. I am now in the process of applying for bankruptcy but appear to have mislaid my certificate of faliure of an IVA. I have been in contact with clearstart who i took my IVA out with. But they have now been taken over by debt free direct who are not much help to be honest. Is there anywhere else i can obtain a copy of my certificate from. This is the last piece of paper i need before i apply and i am getting loads of pressure from my creditors and the threat of bailiffs etc..So i need it quite urgently
Thanks

As your IVA failed a fair while ago, I would ring up your local court and see if you still require the certificate.
It maybe that you can go BR without it.

You will not need this - as I assume that the IVA has been closed by Clearstart?

Hi
If your IVA is not on the Insolvency Register then there should be no reason to produce the certificate.

Just file your own petition on your bankruptcy - this will stop, creditors hassling you. Good luck.
